These input methods plug-ins are compiled based on Wnn, Canna/Linux. It still contains 3 input modules from the MacBlue Telnet release. These old methods are: Punct, QJ, and Telecode.
Added (or replaced) are §“§È§¨§ and •´•ø•´• input modules while uses mostly Kunrei romanisation and some of Hepburn romanisation. Because these 2 module supports auto-input, the Hepburn romanisations which do not correspond to a unique kana is omited. •Ì°º•fiª˙ input module fully supports both romanisations. Each valid roman letter strokes will produce a choice of §“§È§¨§ and •´•ø•´• .
≥∞ÕË∏Ï input module allows user to key-in in English and produces corresponding •´•ø•´• . Again, maximum 5 letters are allows, and choices matched with these initial letters are presented in list window.
…ÙºÛ input module is based on Kanji character's …ÙºÛ. User keys-in the name of a …ÙºÛ in Kunrei romanisation system, a choice list will be presented. This is useful if one does not how to pronounce a Kanji but knows how it looks.
All other input method module use strictly the Kunrei romanisation system for keys-in. The maximum input length is 5 letter, remaining roman letters if any are not considered. Any Japanese matched to these 5 initial Kunrei romanisation will be presented in the list window. Strongly recommended is the §§§Ì§œ input method for commonly used phrase or single character. √±¥¡ª˙ input module contains commonly used Kanji. I believe this dictionary is far from complete. Any one who would like to make a contribution to this dictionary should contact me for the dictionary source file for this input module. √œÃæ and øÕÃæ are for commonly used names for places and people.
The NEC default keyboard layout is included. Note §Û is "nn" instead of "n". This is intended to avoid troubles in auto-input of §“§È§¨§ and •´•ø•´• . For consistency, this "nn" keyboard definition is used through out.
